Dr. Eric Simmons is a native Austinite who graduated from Anderson High School in 1993. He received his DVM from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
After graduation, he joined a practice in Austin and later one in San Antonio. He has practiced small animal medicine for 16 years. He received his BS and MS in entomology from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Simmons has a BCE and is board certified in veterinary and medical entomology.
Eric has been married for 16 years to his wife, Tracey. They have several pets in their family. A tabby cat named Tabitha, a black cat named Licorice and a rabbit named Turbo.
Dr. Simmons’ interests are general small animal practice, internal medicine, oncology and parasitology. He enjoys traveling with his family, playing his bass and drums, and all outdoor activities.
